I walked in a hurried pace. I was growing dark and I didn't like being out in the open. I wished my dragon, Venku, was here. But sadly he was back in our cave in Du Weldenvarden. I cursed under my breath as I tripped on a rock that stuck out of the ground. I got up and brushed off my pants and cloak. I was getting cold and I absolutely hated the cold. It was the one thing that would make me stay inside. In the winter I would usually go south for a while. But this was the desert and at night it was always cold.
Stars above me were beginning to appear as I walked. I looked up and I remembered the first time I met my man. Falco was a tall grey skinned elf. He was a dragon rider just like myself and he was my lover. I smiled to myself silently wishing that I was in his arms. I wished I could be with him on his mission to the east. He had told me it would be to dangerous for me, I didn't argue so I just stayed home. Pushing the thoughts aside I moved on. I was beginning to feel uneasy. I grabbed the hilt of my sword and kept my guard up.

Maia walked through the desert, gazing out across the barren, rolling hills of sand. The hood on her cloak was down, revealing her dark, shiny hair that flowed down her back. She glanced up at the waning moon, her silvery eyes dancing in the moonlight. She continued to walk, in no hurry at the moment as she didn't mind the night, actually she loved it. Maia loved the stars and moon, the way they glowed softly in the dark sky like diamonds. In the distance she spotted a figure. Maia stiffened and reached for her sword that was slung across her back and then pulled it out of its sheath. She continued to walk, hoping that she wouldn't have to fight.

Huor walked rode through the desert. He knew it was stupid to push his horse like tis but he ddint know how far the rdiers were behin him. He gripped the stolen sword tightly in his arms. All he hoped was to make it to a forest fast enough to lose them. in spaces ith closed air and not enough space for dragons they had no chance at catching him.
Suddenly his horse got spooked at the presence of another persn in the desert. he slowed his pace and instantly became more alert

I stopped dead in my tracks and looked to my left. I could see a horse in the distance. I ignored it for a few moments and then looked at him. He looked as if he was in a hurry. Being my curious self I began to walk toward him, when out of the corner of my eye I noticed a woman with hair like mine holding a sword looking in my direction. I drew my sword and waited.

Huor saw the girl in plain view and slowed down to a walk as he approached. "Strange thing to be out in the desert all alone at night, Have you no traveling companions. Why are you armed as if to attack? you cnat expect harm from me can you?

I looked the man over. He didn't seem to be a threat so I thought I might as well play nice girl."No I don't have any traveling compainions. And neither do you." I looked at my sword and then back at the rider."I just don't like being out alone, especially at night." I said firmly.

Huor looked at the girl for a long while, then he slid off his horse. "well if it would make you feel better i can stay with you. I mean im not going anywhere myself and my horse could use a rest. That is if you wnat."

Maia watched a little ways away, eying the two as she walked at a brisk pace. She pulled the hood of her cloak over her head to hide her face as she walked. The cloak trailed around her elegantly and she held out her shimmering silver sword as she walked, deciding to ignore the two for the time being.

I grimaced as he offered to stay with me."You may if you like." I said gracefully. I replaced my sword to its scabbard and crossed my arms over my chest. It was becoming colder by the second. I could sense the girl I had seen before was still close.
